Why Libravio exists.
A passion project, born from a real problem.
Libravio was born from a simple necessity: Keeping track. Anyone with hundreds of titles on Audible, BookBeat, or as MP3s knows the chaos. Wishlists scattered, credits expiring.
The big platforms intentionally build 'walled gardens'. They want to prevent you from comparing prices or canceling strategically.
Libravio flips the script. It is the independent hub that belongs to you. A tool that helps you escape the shops' algorithms.
The Shops (Audible, Spotify, etc.)
- ✕Goal: Maximum sales of own productions.
- ✕Recommendations based on margins.
- ✕Hide the cancel button.
- ✕Your data is trapped.
Libravio (Your Hub)
- Goal: That you find the perfect audiobook.
- Recommendations based 100% on your taste.
- Actively warns of cost traps.
- Your library is your property (CSV).
1. The Foundation: The Growing Database
Two ways to the goal: Hive Mind & Instant Import.
Many users hesitate to use a new app because they fear manual effort. Libravio solves this with a dual system that gets stronger with every user.
Just type 'Harry Potter'. If another user imported it, you find it instantly. One click, no links needed.
Title not there? Copy the link (Audible, etc.). Our system analyzes the page live, pulls HD covers, and adds it to the global database.
2. The Logic: The Triage Process
In most apps, everything lands in one pile. This leads to 'Choice Paralysis'. Libravio establishes a clear workflow.
The Funnel (Watchlist)
Here you can be messy. It's your idea pool. No obligation.
The Executive (Wishlist)
Discipline rules here. Only move titles here if you say: 'I will spend money on this'. This list is prioritized.
Watchlist
Brainstorming Area
- An interesting thriller
- Tip from a colleague
Wishlist
Strategic Execution
- 11. Project Hail Mary
- 22. Bobiverse Vol. 1
3. The Discovery: The Audio Fingerprint
We open the black box: How the match works.
Why do standard recommendations fail? Because they rely on 'Genre' and 'Sales'. Libravio breaks every audiobook down into its atomic parts – we call this the 'Book DNA'.
1Step 1: The DNA Analysis
When a book enters our system, the AI analyzes reviews, samples, and metadata to determine 4 core dimensions:
DNA Analyse
Is the world threatening or inviting?
How fast does the plot move?
Do I need notes or can I relax?
Radio play style or 'Campfire Storyteller'?
Project Hail Mary
Step 2: Your Profile
Every time you rate a book, your profile shifts. A 5-star rating says: 'More of this!'. A Drop says: 'Avoid this pacing'. This creates your unique audio fingerprint.
Step 3: The Result
We don't just show you the book. We tell you WHY it fits. Transparency instead of algorithm voodoo.
4. Vision & Roadmap
Libravio is a living project. What you see today is just the beginning.
The Hybrid Library
Why separate reading and listening? Soon you can add physical books. The AI uses reading history for audiobook recs.
The Stage for Indie Authors
Big algorithms favor big publishers. We want indies to feed their works directly. If the 'vibe' fits, we suggest it.
Automatic Sync
We are working on API connections to Spotify and BookBeat for automatic import.
Fair Play & Funding
Libravio is free. Yet, servers cost money.
Here is the deal: Libravio helps you find the best book. If you want to support us, use our links.
We use affiliate links (Reflinks). The price doesn't change for you. This keeps us independent.
